About the author of Only the Paranoid Survive

Businessman Andrew S. Grove survived Nazi-occupied Hungary only to endure the Soviet Union’s communist regime. In 1956, he escaped his homeland to nearby Austria. A year later, he immigrated to America. Grove earned his chemical engineering Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkley. From there, he became the CEO of Intel, innovating microchips and forever transforming the company.
