About the author of An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth

Colonel Chris Hadfield is a retired Canadian astronaut with two decades of experience, including three space flights and a long-term stint aboard the International Space Station. He supported twenty-five space shuttle missions as NASA’s Chief Capsule Communicator. In his ongoing efforts to educate about space, Hadfield has also released a picture book of Earth taken from space and a children’s book, The Darkest Dark.
